Pictures!

Dad bought me a new monitor. I had been using the one on my laptop. It helps a lot. I don't get as bad of headaches anymore.

Mom and Dad went to Florida for a week so Dad could breathe a little better (an escape from his allergies). We missed them a lot. David was really sad that they were gone. When they came back they brought him these gigantic balls, which he loves to play with.

Colts

It was sad to watch the Colts lose, but we had a good time watching the game at least. David was actually drumming when this picture was taken, which explains the upraised hand.

Peace in the East

My friend Han Jieun's and my translation of An Chunggun's "A Treatise on Peace in the East" won a prize and has been posted on the University of Toronto Center for the Study of Korea website.

Interview

I got the campus interview so now I have a 50% chance of getting the job! Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I don't know exactly when the interview will be.

Interview Results

Despite being sick I was really happy with how the interview went. I will find out next week if I will be invited for a campus visit. They had phone interviews with seven people and will invite two for visits, so I have a 15% chance now but if I make it, it will go up to 50%.

Aimee: Thanks for our kind offer to send treats. That is really tempting...if it weren't for the possibility of a campus visit I'd have to take you up on that but I have to keep my weight down!

Heather: That is sound advice. I really need to do that. It would help my stress level immensely (help it go down I mean^^)
