Update

There isn't a whole lot to report since the excitement of the last couple of weeks died down. I've been working on a paper and everyone else has been working hard taking care of the house. David had a cold but is over it. It made him lose some weight so we are working on making him plump again which is a little difficult since he is so active. It's good to see him happy and he is always laughing.

On Saturday we went to mass and a priest from Brazil was there. During the homily he told us about the work he was involved which is taking care of babies and young chidlren that have AIDS. He was there to raise money since the price of the medicine it takes to keep the kids alive is very high (I think he said something like 1,000 dollars a month). It's really good work and I'm sure people gave generously. I hope and pray all goes well with their mission.

July 4th Weekend

We had a great time during the long Independence Day Weekend!

Here are some of our relatives who we saw over the weekend. From left to right in the front row are Bobby, Aunt Janet and Elizabeth. In the back are Uncle Bob and George. We had a good time together.

Chris and Scott enjoy Wii golf
Brunch. On the left are Scott and Juliet, on the right, Ross, in the middle Chris and Cory with Arlene with her back turned.

In the back row from left to right, Juliet, Loida, and Arlene. Lindsey is hugging Juliet and Brittany is holding David.
A very cool picture in my opinion.

Our friend Cory lights some fireworks!

Canada Day

In honor of David's Canadian heritage we celebrated Canada Day on July 1st. You can't tell in this picture but all three of us have on Canadian/University of British Columbia T-shirts.
David holds the Canadian flag, ever vigilant for the protection of his country's honor.
