Today marks the occassion of the Blessed Virgin Mary's Assumption into Heaven. It also marks the end of the World War Two in the Pacific. Takashi Nagai, whose wife, Midori died in the atomic bombing of Nagasaki drew a picture of Mary being Assumed into heaven in a cloud and his wife being Assumed into heaven on a mushroom cloud. That man's faith always amazes me.Mary, Mother of God, pray for us!
